3 Signs You've Found An Unreliable Pressure Washing Company
Trying to find a pressure washing company you can trust is a stressful process. There's lots of going through reviews, talking to friends and neighbors, and just generally looking at picture after picture of past jobs.
That's how you find a decent pressure washing company, anyway. How do you find a good one?
Pressure washing companies that are as dedicated to the craft as we are stand few and far between, but if we're not a right fit for you, there are all sorts of ways to find a good one (we can even try to help). However, there are plenty of bad companies who are good at one thing - posing as good ones. Here's how to sniff them out.
Some Signs Of An Unreliable Pressure Washing Company
-
Vast Differences Between One-Star Reviews And Five-Star Reviews - Google can be a glorious thing when it comes to being able to look up pressure washing company reviews. One thing to watch out for when you're looking up company reviews isn't the ratio of five-star reviews to one-stars, but how they're phrased.
A five-star review that reads "Helping my buddy, they do good work" tells you nothing about the company. The one or two-star review below it that reads "Showed up late, rushed the job, didn't completely wash my roof" tells you a lot more. -
The Techs Know Nothing About A Service That The Company Advertises - Let's say that you need graffiti removal. You're a local business, and constant graffiti has been a major problem in maintaining the curb appeal of your business. ABC Pressure Washing Inc., advertises graffiti removal, and it seems highly-rated on Google (another reason to compare those reviews). You decide to call them.
They take on your job, a tech comes out, and they perform the service. You go to review the results, and the tech hasn't washed away the graffiti at all, despite hours of cleaning. When you speak with the tech, they tell you that they've never known the company to perform graffiti removal services, and they were never trained to perform that service themselves. That's wasted time and money.
If you'd like to know whether or not we can perform a service, it's always best to call us first. We're always up front with you about whether or not we can perform a service that you need. -
No Debrief or Double-Checking Results - A good pressure washing tech will always make sure to debrief you on the job, going over the results of their work with you. A tech that doesn't debrief or double-check isn't focused on the job they're doing for you. They're focused on what you're going to pay them, with more emphasis on the next paying gig.
Are you seeing these signs in the pressure washing company that you're currently speaking to? Have no fear - there's still time to go with a better company.
